Salem Witch Judge: The Life and Repetance of Samuel Sewall by Eve LaPlante – Dedication

In Biography, Books on November 15, 2010 at 12:08 pm

Eve LaPlante’s book explores the 17th-century journey of Samuel Sewall – the only Salem Witch Trial Judge to officially and publicly repent for sending twenty innocent women to terrible deaths. LaPlante is Sewall’s great-great-great-great-great-granddaughter, [or his grandchild’s grandchild’s great-grandchild]. She dedicated the biography:

In memory of

Joseph A. LaPlante

Charlotte May Wilson

Wilson is LaPlante’s great-aunt (the family genealogist), and Joseph is LaPlante’s father.
