Counterlife by Philip Roth – Dedication

In Books, Novels on November 11, 2010 at 12:00 pm

The Counterlife probes Henry and Nathan Zuckerman’s lives and tells their intricate story five different ways. In examining the fragments that make up a full life, Philip Roth dedicated his masterful 1986 novel:

To my father at eighty-five

Roth would win the National Book Critics Circle award (again) for Patrimony: A True Story, which tells the story of his father Hermann.
